nobody likes the “bad boys” who insult and degrade their partners while wearing pastel polos with popped collars, people like REAL bad boys who wear leather jackets and take a lot of care in how they shape their pompadour and carry around stiletto switchblades and care about their communities and ride a motorcycle and rebel against the government and says stuff like “NOBODY insults my gal” and gets in fistfights with dudes who catcall their girlfriends. THOSE bad boys are the guys everyone wants.

They rebelled against the notion that as soon as you left high school you needed to work a respectable job, get married, and have 2.5 children. They were bad because they didn’t follow what society said a man should be, and that’s why it was attractive

Carlos was taken from his mom, Encarnacion Bail Romero after she was arrested during a work raid. Her words, “Nobody could help me because I don’t speak English,” are still resonating deeply within me. This child was kidnapped from a loving mother, and she went to hell and backwards trying to get him back, and a judge literally told her she had no rights to her own child.
Completely unfit parents can get their children back like it’s nothing and this poor woman who loves her child and just wants him with her again cannot? How is this not human trafficking/kidnapping?

reminder that many children are funneled specifically to Christian families and communities for the same reasons they always have: destroy culture, stack votes, add bodies to communities that otherwise wouldn’t hold majorities. it is literal, actual trafficking.
This is a part of genocide. Removing the children from their parents, who generally desperately love and want to raise them, and placing them with white American families is a way to erase their culture from existence without the ugliness of directly killing children. But it’s still ugly, and it cares nothing for the actual welfare of the child.

My dad kept the computer locked and monitored (and only used when under direct supervision), an intolerable situation to which my little brother and I reacted with gusto. We set up a camera to get the password, coded password guessers, bootcamped a Mac to allow us to use an entirely different system, and figured out various ways to avoid logging internet activity, logins, and even the hidden camera my dad set up. He would discover our new hack and put even more restrictions (he is very computer literate), and we would crack it again. We learned computer security just because my dad didn’t want us to.

We’ve seen a few posts around on this before but many have been badly worded, so here’s one we put together:
Deodorants, antiperspirants, and bath/shower products:
If a strong and ‘marketed for men’ scent helps ease dysphoria for you, use it! Brands like AXE, Lynx and Old Spice are a few examples of deodorants that are generally marketed for men.
If the simple act of the paging saying ‘for men’ helps with affirmation and busting dysphoria, there is nothing wrong with that. You are a man buying a man’s product!
Scents have no gender. But if a flowery scent is a dysphoria trigger for you, then by all means avoid it.
If you’re a guy who prefers the lighter scents, then go for it!
If strong scents set you off in a bad way, look into products that are marketed for sensitive skin. These tend to have no fragrance.
If deodorant sprays set you off in a bad way, then look into roll-ons or other deodorant types.
Showering and bathing:
If you have the option, shower. Showers are usually quicker.
Use your favourite bath/shower gel and try to focus on the scent rather than your body.
If you really can’t shower or bathe that day, get a wet wipe and wipe around the places where you usually get most sweaty. It’ll help you feel a little cleaner.
If you can’t manage that, be sure to wash your face and your hands to prevent acne and the spread of germs
If acne is an issue for you, get acne wipes AND acne face wash (you can use it on other acne spots like shoulders and back as well) if you possibly can (remember: T can make acne worse, and if it’s ever a serious issue please consult your doctor)

i once saw someone with a clive barker url criticizing a writer for writing things they found morally reprehensible and the irony nearly killed me
clive barker has written some of the most fucked up shit i’ve ever read, and he’s one of the most successful horror writers/directors out there. like… tumblr really be like that
